Since its opening in 2017, Lab-44 has grown into a thriving business. That success is thanks to its unique location (the Hembrug site), its setting (a monumental laboratory dating back to 1918), and of course, the professional and enthusiastic team behind it.

With the continued development of the entire area – including museums, housing, and various facilities – we see a bright future ahead: A unique and welcoming meeting place where everyone feels at home, all year round, in both summer and winter.

Lab-44 is a certified training company. Are you looking for a place to learn the ins and outs of the culinary profession during the upcoming school year – under the guidance of a certified chef and mentor? Come and meet our head chef and mentor, Roy Pickkers, and take the first step in your culinary career!

Looking for an internship in the restaurant? You’re in the right place with us! Our manager and certified mentor, Carl Ern, will teach you everything about front-of-house operations. You’ll also get to be part of the most exciting events at our venue.
